Hi, I’m Carol Sue — a lifelong plant lover with a soft spot for African violets. My very first attempt at growing them was from seed when I was just 10 years old, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I started my From Leaf to Bloom shop as a means of helping others learn to grow and love African violets.
In my shop, you’ll find African violets for everyone — from easy leaf-starting kits for beginners to rare and named varieties for collectors. I also show photos of the exact plant you’ll receive, so there are no surprises — only the excitement of knowing exactly what’s coming to your door.
Every plant is grown here in Colorado with patience, care, and a farmer’s daughter’s attention to detail (I also hold a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Illinois). I’m a hobby grower, not a mass producer — which means each plant gets the time and attention it needs to thrive.
My mission is simple: to share my love of African violets while offering healthy, well-grown plants at a fair price — and to bring a little more growth and color into your home.
